Special Guest Speaker: Former Mets and Yankees star pitcher Doc Gooden
The Baseball United Foundation will host our first fundraising luncheon on February 21, 2015 at Graziella’s Italian Bistro in White Plains, NY. We will recognize the efforts of our long-time supporters, while sharing the results of our ongoing programs to promote youth and adult amateur baseball in the US and overseas.
This year’s event will feature special guest speaker, Dwight “Doc” Gooden, former Mets and Yankees pitcher, as well as Rookie of the Year, Cy Young Award Winner, and World Series Champion.
- Doc Gooden will give a speech about his legendary career, followed by an extended Q&A session.
- Tickets are $150 – each ticket includes a three-course meal and beer/wine/soda.
- Each attendee will be permitted to bring one item to be signed by Doc Gooden. It’s a great gift idea for any Mets or Yankees fan!
- Money raised from the event will help support our ongoing programs to support, develop, and promote the game of baseball in Ireland and Europe. Proceeds from the event will also support Kensico Little League.
This event would not be possible without the kind support of sponsors like you. We are grateful to have had ongoing support from numerous community partners. We’re hoping you’ll join us this year in honoring the work of our volunteers and supporting our programs.
