The Share Baseball Around the World Program Lets Fans Support International Youth Baseball Programs
White Plains, NY (April 7, 2021) – The Baseball United Foundation has announced a fundraising program to benefit youth baseball players in Bhutan.
The partnership is part of a new initiative called the Share Baseball Around the World program. Baseball fans in America can support Bhutan Baseball & Softball, and other international youth baseball programs, by visiting ShareBaseball.org or by texting the code “SHAREBASEBALL” to 44-321 on their mobile phone.
“We’re happy to announce our partnership with Baseball United,” explained Barun Wakhley, the Secretary General of Bhutan Baseball & Softball. “We believe this partnership will help us continue to grow and provide a rewarding experience for the children of Bhutan.”
Funds raised will help with the costs of running a youth baseball program, including safety equipment, uniforms, training supplies, and field maintenance.
